DO NOT bring your children here !!!!

I started talking to the staff members in April 2017, about the facility and asking tons of questions. I did stump the staff a few times where they had to ask the management team some questions, but I always got the answers. The staff on the phone talked to me like I was a good family member,

Large campground. We visited in the off season. Indoor pool looked nice, but we didn't use it. Large laundromat. Individual bath/shower rooms. Reasonable prices at store, but camp site rate high for off season.

I have made the trip up from Florida about 6 times since and have enjoyed it every time. It's quiet must of the time, don't have people and kids cutting thru other campsites. Watch the calender for special holiday weekends, I came up for work again during there Halloween weekend, I was amazed by the decorations and the extra stuff they did for the kids.

As the week went on my daughter asked me if I would leave my camper at Friendly Beaver on a seasonal site so she could go up on the weekends and have a getaway from home, we joined a waiting list of people wanting to do seasonal camping, I was placed on a site waiting to get into my seasonal spot, about 2 weeks later a great spot was open and I got it, I came back up from Florida for work and was on site as they moved my camper for me,(free of charge). Wayne put my camper on the site so gently and perfectly, maximizing the space we now have.

I arrived in late July for my vacation, the office staff was welcoming, friendly and quick. The store is well filled with items that are priced right, (not marked up to kill your wallet/purse)

We camped here recently and my 10yr old daughter was biking from our site to the park along with my niece n she was hit by a seasonal camper driving a golf cart . When I got to the scene of the accident the seasonal campers were yelling at the girls saying they shouldn't have been out on bikes so late , and the man driving was attempting to ripped her bike from underneath his precious golf cart , it was still light out at this time 7:30-8pm, my daughter was taken by ambulance to the hospital , we were unsure if the golf cart went over her body or just the bike. How do you run over a child on a bicycle if your only permitted to go 5mph I will never understand . What is even more upsetting is that driver never offered an apology or came to see if my daughter was ok after the accident . Maybe offer to buy her a new bicycle ? When I went to speak with the campground staff the next day I asked for some information , they told me they were unable to give any info on the driver I would have to contact the police for that,, really? Obviously this campground is more concerned with keeping their seasonal campers happy than providing a safe environment for all their campers ! We have been to this campground many times but will not be back after this. I feel horrible that I have recommended this campground to so many people saying it's "family friendly" This man still has the privilege of riding his golf cart around n who knows who he will hit next time ! Keep your kids safe n choose another campground

My ex (she stalks me online) and I used to take our children here. It's a great campground. There's no cell service, so either pay 5 bucks a day for wifi, or have FUN camping. There's a lot to do. On weekends, the staff put on some kind of weekend long family-friendly event. The parents here often drink a lot, but rather than be beligerient, they are kinda fun to watch. It's really a friendly place. Start your tradition now! Open year round. Shout out to my ex and her attorney. Bad Finger for you two! :p

The pools were clean (outside pools were too cold for me coming up from Florida) the indoor pool was perfect and we spent many hours swimming.. The breakfast on the weekends is delicious and cheap priced. They have many activities for kids of all ages included myself.

We absolutely love this campground. Wonderful staff, extremely friendly and helpful, Great price and options. A great place if you have young kids. They have activities daily and special events for the weekends. My daughter is always excited to go there. Prince and Princess Ball this past weekend - She danced her little feet off!

I came to Friendly Beaver campground for a week long relaxing time with my daughter.

It's IMPOSSIBLE to PLEASE everyone, and sometime no matter how much you try and how much you give, someone will always complain and be unhappy, but the staff at Friendly Beaver does try hard, and Robert the office manager really does care and is always trying to help...

The site I was on was perfect, (water, electric, and cable) my camper is 30 feet long and we had plenty of room to set up a tent, put out the slide, have a camp fire and moving around room. At night we set up a movie screen outside and relaxed.

I have stayed at many campground around the country, while I was here people would, wave and say hi and were real friendly, (staff and campers(seasonal and transients))
